Layered Lighting
As the clouds roll in they arrive in layers. Because of the distances involved the lighting changes. The top of the nearest mountain range is about 10 miles from where this photograph was taken. We were at the tram station at the top of the Sandia’s , just east of Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. The picture was taken in the fall because you can see the aspen turning.
